General Notarizations
In addition to the per signature notary fee, the client is responsible for a reasonable travel fee which will be discussed and disclosed prior to the appointment. Upon arrival at the scheduled appointment should it be determined that the signer's document(s) is/are not acceptable to be notarized or any reason or should the signer lack proper identification, the agreed upon travel fee is due and payable.
After Hours Fee
An additional $50 fee will be charged for appointments scheduled between the hours of 10 p.m. and 7 a.m. The after hours fee, travel fee and notarization fee(s) will be paid in cash or credit card at the time of the appointment.
Prison, Jail and Detention Center Fee
A $200 fee will be charged for inmate notarizations and is payable at the time the appointment is scheduled. This fee includes travel and notary fees for up to 2 documents. Should more than 2 documents be notarized, a fee of $10.00 for each additional document will be charged.
At the time of notarization the document(s) to be notarized along with proper identification are required. Arrangements can be made prior to the appointment for a family member or friend to meet with the notary to pick up the document(s) and ID. It is important to note that the inmate will be responsible to make arrangements to have his or her inmate ID card or other suitable form of identification available to present to the Notary Public at the time of signing.
Please note that some facilities have a Notary Public scheduled weekly at the facility. Check with the facility where the inmate is located and ask if there is a Notary Public scheduled at the site.
